Nightlife on Koh Lanta

Baan Saladan

Baan Saladan really isn’t much of a haven for nightlife, there are a few bars scattered around but you’re mostly going to stumble across shops and restaurants. There’s still enough going on to spend an evening here, but if you’re looking for entertainment then it would be wise to head to one of the beaches.

Northwest Coast (Phrae Ae (Long Beach) & Klong Dao)

The Northwest coast of Koh Lanta has the largest amount of bars on the island, and is generally seen as the area to head to for nightlife. Some places are more relaxed than others, but there’s also a few spots for dancing the night away.

Some of the most notable bars are:

The Ozone Bar – Beach club, DJs, and late nights.

Funky Monkey Bar – Large bar, music, and pool.

Cheeky Monkey Bar – Early start, cocktails, and food.

Korner Bar – Rasta Bar, DJs, Beach.

Southwest Coast (Kantiang Bay & Klong Nin)

The Southwest coast of Koh Lanta is a little more laidback, and slightly upmarket compared with the Northwest coast. Closing earlier than some of the other spots further North, but great entertainment for the evening.

Some of the most notable bars are:

Noon Bar – Great views and cocktails.

Aqua Bar – Sunsets, late nights, and live music.

Why Not Bar – Beach bar, rasta, and live music.
